25% Energy Savings for the City
“The City of Seward hired Energy Pro to submit a quote to replace fluorescent lights, ballasts, and fixtures throughout the City. The project as specified by the City’s engineering consultant, would cost in excess of $150,000 for a project budgeted at $80,000. Energy Pro quickly proposed a couple changes that accomplished the City’s goals for $70,000.
The work crews were fast, clean & polite working in areas with many planned activities. We did request some additional work to be done. Energy Pro charged the same rates as the original accepted bid proposal. The city is now enjoying an estimated 25% energy savings on city lighting. I have no doubts that other organizations would have a similar experience with Energy Pro as their contractor.”

Updated Lighting with No Interruption to School Day
“Auburn Public Schools contracted with Energy Pro to replace all of our lighting fixtures to T-8’s in 2012. Energy Pro met with the administration prior to the install to understand our needs and concerns.
Our primary focus was to ensure that this remodeling did not impact the students and teachers. Energy Pro listened to our concerns and worked with our staff to ensure that there was no interruption to the school day or with any after school activities.
Their employees were considerate of our faculties. They quickly installed all fixtures to our satisfaction. After the work was completed, Energy Pro did follow up calls and checks to ensure that there were no additional problems.
We were extremely pleased with the end results. The Energy Pro Team did an outstanding job. I would hire them again without reservation.”

Coordination and Savings for City of Lincoln
“The City of Lincoln received over $2.4 million in federal Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) funds in 2009, and implemented over eighteen different energy saving projects in 2009- 20012. One of these projects was a lighting upgrade in a dozen city buildings . These buildings ranged from community centers with gymnasiums to libraries to police maintenance garages to office buildings. Energy Pro Lighting & Electrical was selected through a public bidding process to install the thousands of fixtures, lamps, ballasts, high bay lights, and other lighting upgrades paid for through the EECBG.
As the City of Lincoln does not have a centralized building and facilities management operation, this lighting upgrade across many different departments required a considerable amount of coordination from the Mayor’s office. It also required a patient and diligent electrical contractor, one willing to work with a variety of parties and in a number of different environments.
I am pleased to report that Energy Pro has served this installation contractor role quite well, and has both delivered high quality work performance at each site and has worked closely with the Mayor’s office to coordinate and fulfill the terms of this contract. In particular , I wish to cite to Energy Pro’s willingness to provide assistance to the City of Lincoln as we went through three separate bidding processes for the lighting supplies themselves , an inconvenience to Energy Pro but one they cooperated with fully.
Again, I recommend Energy Pro to others based upon my experience working with them on the City of Lincoln’s municipal lighting upgrade project, and would enjoy working with them again as we do additional upgrades and renovations at the municipal level.”
